Three young girls and a young boy, all of
whom desire to break into the movie
business, win an audition to star in the next
film by Jurek (George Hilton), a mysterious
horror movie director who lives isolated from
the world. The young actors are invited to
spend a night in Jurek’s castle. When they
arrive, they learn that Jurek usually shows up
only at midnight, so in the meantime they are
asked to watch one of the black and white
classic directed by Jurek…

Dinner with a Vampire is one for the four TV
movies of Lamberto Bava’s Brivido Giallo
series. With George Hilton in the lead, Bava
(Demons, A Blade in the Dark) delivers a
good mix between an Hammer-style horror
and a teen comedy. The movie has been
digitally re-mastered from the vault negative
and it’s presented with the correct original
aspect ratio of 1.66:1.
